Damping grease, also called high-viscosity grease or shock-absorption grease, is a greaserefined from high-purity inorganic thickeners and synthetic oils with various additives. Damping lubricant plays a dual role of damping and lubrication between two friction surfaces.
Due to its high viscosity, damping grease allows connected components to have larger gaps and tolerances while providing buffering, enabling smooth and precise component movement, improving tactile feel, reducing noise, protecting instruments from moisture, dust and other contaminants, reducing wear, and extending product life.
